Egypt 

Developed landfill project, additional energy projects in the oil and gas fields

Egensys provided the full technical design for a 950 kWp solar canopy system. Unlike traditional ground mounts, our carport engineering accounts for structural height requirements, vehicle clearance, and specific drainage management. The system is designed with a high AC-to-DC ratio, delivering 800 kWac to the facility and the local grid. With an annual production of 1.588 GWh, the project significantly offsets operational costs while shielding the parking surface from Puerto Rico’s intense UV exposure and tropical weather. Our scope included comprehensive electrical documentation and the successful navigation of the grid-utility permitting process.

In Orocovis, land topography often presents a challenge for large-scale solar. Egensys bypassed these constraints by designing a 340 kWp solar carport that utilizes pre-developed parking surfaces.

The system features a robust electrical design with a 300kWac capacity, engineered to withstand the unique environmental conditions of the central mountain range. By securing all necessary utility and grid-interconnection permits, we delivered a project capable of producing 538.6 MWh annually. This energy production significantly reduces the facility's carbon footprint and dependence on the centralized grid, showcasing a model for sustainable infrastructure in high-altitude municipal or commercial settings.
